Welcome to WRAGE. This site was created in 2007 to campaign against the plans for gravel extraction at Walkford and Roeshot.
The Walkford site is no longer included as a preferred area by Hampshire- thanks to everyone’s efforts!
The Roeshot site on the Hampshire side of the border, is currently on a list of ‘reserved’ sites for gravel extraction. Dorset have also listed Roeshot as a possible site for their side of the boundary. A consultation on this is expected in the Autumn. See the latest update below for details.
